Green Home Carpet Cleaning Product

Spring cleaning time is here again, and this year you may want to consider using a green home carpet cleaning product to replace at least one of your commercial cleansers. Commercial products contain ammonia, bleach, chlorine, acid and a whole lot of other complex chemicals that are hard to pronounce, but there are natural alternatives to many of these cleaning products.
An added bonus is that natural products often cost less than commercial products, don't produce indoor pollutants that can irritate children and pets, and work just as well. Most of the items needed to make natural home cleansers are common cupboard fare. For example, baking soda is great for scrubbing, olive oil can be used for dusting, club soda works on carpet stains, and both vinegar and lemon juice act as natural cleaners.
